Luxury Suites at the Louisville Bourbon Inn
The Louisville Bourbon Inn is newly renovated, elegantly furnished and yet warm and inviting. Once a family home built in the 1880’s, the Mansion and the Carriage House now provide spaces where old world charm meets new world convenience, making it a perfect getaway in the heart of Old Louisville. Our suites are uniquely appointed with decor to highlight each room’s distinct architectural features.
THE MANSION
The Mansion
With close to 9,000 square feet of living space, the Mansion features five luxurious suites. It houses both the main floor Living Room and the second floor Bourbon/Library Room, great places to hang out whether you are a solo traveler or meeting with a larger group.

Grand Derby Suite
You will feel like royalty when you stay in the Grand Derby Suite, originally the primary bedroom of the mansion. The suite is spacious, with soaring windows that let in natural light while it sits among the trees. It is truly an unforgettable space at the Louisville Bourbon Inn, and one you won’t want to leave!

Mint Julep Suite
Light-filled and serene, this suite features a sumptuous four-poster bed, early American artwork and feels impossibly elegant. Whether your goal is to sleep, read, relax or sip bourbon, this suite is the one for you.

Kentucky Sunrise Suite
Escape the chaos of daily life and have a romantic celebration in the only suite with a private outdoor balcony on the top floor. With a beautiful, sun-filled bathroom and spa tub, the Kentucky Sunrise is designed to make you want to move in!

Old Fashioned Suite
More than any other suite, the Old Fashioned Suite reveals the Romanesque revival architecture of the Louisville Bourbon Inn. If you like history, architecture and comfort, you will feel completely at home.

Manhattan Suite
It’s sophisticated, yet cozy and comfortable. This suite was named for the cocktail, not the city, so there’s no hustle and bustle here, just respite and relaxation.

THE CARRIAGE HOUSE
The Carriage House
The Carriage House is a separate home from the Mansion, located through the courtyard. Inside, you will find three inviting suites as well as a gathering room and bar. This is a great choice for travelers who have trouble navigating the large staircases in the Mansion, or for a small group that desires a space to themselves.
Bourbon Fizz Suite
The only first-floor suite on the property, the Bourbon Fizz Suite is cozy and convenient. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a quiet moment in the Courtyard, or sip a bourbon in the great room with your fellow travelers.

Hot Toddy Suite
Whether you want a tranquil escape or a romantic getaway, the Hot Toddy Suite is a great choice. When you step through the alcove into the luxurious bathroom, you might decide to stay there for a while and enjoy a do-it-yourself spa treatment!

Kentucky Classic Suite
The Kentucky Classic Suite seems to magically remove stress from everyone who stays in it. It’s a large, beautiful suite with hardwood floors and comfy furniture that projects warmth and luxury with a spectacular black marble bathroom that invites relaxation and rest.

Total Contentment
The Louisville Bourbon Inn brought back all the joy and happiness we experienced when we were married close to 20 years ago. Allen has poured all of himself into this B&B and it is truly wonderful. Everything is thouoght of and taken care of when you stay here. It is a beautiful houose and well-maintained with high ceilings and old world craftmanship. Our love for the Inn hasn’t faded and we look forward to our next stay at this wonderful place!

Perfect Place for an Anniversary Trip!
Absolutely amazing experience. Allen and staff have developed a top-notch venue with attention to every little detail. From the small details in the dining room for breakfast, to the games in the parlour, to the cleanliness of the rooms, it was exactly what I’d hoped for on our 20th anniversary. I’ll never have biscuits and gravy again that will stand up to the Louisville Bourbon Inn’s! Thank you for making our stay truly special.

Beautifufl Inn, Amazing Host, Wonderful Time!
The Louisville Bourbon Inn is the most beautiful bed and breakfast my husband and I have ever stayed in. The mansion is perfect in every way. Thought is put into every detail, from the room decor down to the fresh flowers placed in the gorgeous rooms. Every corner was spotless and beautifully decorated. Allen is an amazing chef and he is warm and friendly and makes you feel like family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
