Just the Two of Us Elopement Wedding Package Description
If you want to elope in Kentucky, our Just for the Two of Us elopement and wedding package is a perfect choice for a simple, intimate and personal marriage ceremony that still includes some of the traditions from a regular wedding. At the heart of this package is a marriage ceremony for the happy couple and up to two additional guests. We provide a wedding officiant, and if you invite two guests, our Wedding Planner will attend as the official photographer. If you don’t have any guests, our Innkeeper will also attend so there are two witnesses and an officiant as required by Kentucky law.
Our experienced wedding officiant has a standard wedding script that we can use for your ceremony, or you can provide alternative words, readings, vows and music to personalize the celebration. After you are officially declared a married couple, you will pop a bottle of bubbly and everyone will participate in a toast to celebrate the momentous occasion. Then, you will cut (and eat) the wedding cake as we take our final pictures.
When the celebration is over, you can retreat to your private honeymoon suite and we will take care of all the cleanup. If you hold the event on a weekend, you will have two nights reserved in the honeymoon suite. The next morning, you will enjoy your first full gourmet breakfast together as a married couple in our dining room.
You decide where you want to hold your special private ceremony. You can get married outside in our private garden courtyard, or you can get married inside the mansion, either in one of our elegant gathering rooms or in a suite with a private balcony overlooking Central Park (subject to availability). The entire elopement event can last up to an hour, and you can choose to schedule it any time of day before 2 pm, subject to the officiant’s availability.
The cost for this package is $1,950 for a weekday wedding or $2,300 for a weekend celebration. Taxes and fees are not included and will be added to the invoice.
