Best of the Best Award from Tripadvisor
We are thrilled to announce that we have been named the #1 B&B and Inn in the United States for the second year in a row! And for 2026, we moved up to #3 in the World! This is the Travelers’ Choice award from Tripadvisor and we were named the Best of the Best.
We want to thank everyone who took the time to write a review about us on Tripadvisor (and other sites, too!). You are the reason we are the #1 Bed and Breakfast in the U.S. for 2026. This award will make us work even harder to deliver what we know you expect from #1.

The Louisville Bourbon Inn was recently featured on the nationally televised show The American Dream on CNBC. The segment showcased our historic Inn, exceptional hospitality, and award-winning culinary experience to a nationwide audience.
Co-owner and chef Allen Mitchell highlighted what makes the Inn so special, from our award-winning gourmet breakfasts to the unforgettable guest experience that led Tripadvisor to name us the #1 Bed and Breakfast in the United States.

HolidayDons maps out a seven-day journey through a “remarkable region of the United States.” One stop on the trip is Louisville, Kentucky, with recommended visits to Oscar Getz Museum of Whiskey HJistory in Owensboro, the Maker’s Mark distillery outside Frankfort, and of course Churchill Downs. There are only two places they recommend to stay: one hotel and one B&B. The hotel is 21C and the B&B is yours truly, the Louisville Bourbon Inn. The author says:

Author Jim Gladstone explores the places to see, eat and stay in Louisville, and only makes three recommendations for where to stay: two hotels and one bed and breakfast,. The hotels are 21C and the Myriad Hotel (because it occupies the old Omega Mirrorball factory). Any guesses to which bed and breakfast was recommended? Of course, it’s the Louisville Bourbon Inn.
